Phylogy has assembled a staff of experienced professional managers and industry experts for both day-to-day operations, as well as advisors to the Company. They have attracted professionals with successful backgrounds in technology commercialization, research and development, marketing, finance and operations.

Collectively, they possess more than 250 years of technology and telecommunications experience, knowledge and relationships among their management team and advisory board, which has been of significant benefit in the development of market strategy, key strategic partnerships, and financial projections.

Mr. Larzabal has more than thirty years of experience in the semiconductor technology sector including responsibility for customer and vendor relationships, strategic and technical marketing, system-level design, new product development, applications, and operations. Mr. Larzabal's business and technical acumen in RISC and DSP-based mixed-signal systems-on-a-chip (SOC) extend into commercial, industrial and military markets. Mr. Larzabal's P&L responsibility has included $30M+ communications product lines, and has managed the acquisition of technology companies and intellectual property licensing.

Edward Ponganis, Phylogy's Chief Executive Officer, co-founder and co-inventor

Mr. Ponganis has more than thirty years of experience in design, manufacturing and operations in the semiconductor technology sector. Mr. Ponganis has a proven track record in the areas of mixed-signal, microprocessor, DSP, VLIW and systems-on-a-chip (SOC) product development, foundry, vendor and remote technology center management, intellectual property evaluation and licensing, and software development and support. Mr. Ponganis has managed international product development teams, annual budgets of over $15M, and the evaluation, acquisition and integration of technology companies.

Timothy Mueller, Phylogy's President

Mr. Mueller is an entrepreneurial leader who, back in the early 90s, capitalized on the Internet's growing commercial applications. As CEO and co-founder of Vantage One Communications, Mueller accomplished numerous "firsts" by uniting non-linear communications with the untapped muscle of the World Wide Web. Mr. Mueller was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by USA TODAY/NASDQ/Ernst & Young in 1997. After expanding his firm nationally, he sold Vantage One in November of 1999. For three years (2002-2004), Mr. Mueller served on Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell's executive staff as Deputy Mayor/Chief Development Officer. Prior to founding Vantage One, Mr. Mueller was a member of the corporate staff at Eaton Corporation, a $10 billion multi-national conglomerate.

David Sanders, Phylogy's Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Sanders has nearly 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, strategic consulting and human resources management. His experience includes senior level leadership roles as CFO of a $1 billion+ division of a Fortune 500 company to interim CEO and COO roles in middle-market distribution and manufacturing companies. Previously, Mr. Sanders held senior level positions with Ameritech, including VP of Finance for TeleDenmark's (a subsidiary of Ameritech) largest business unit in Copenhagen Denmark. He also served as Director of Network Operations in Ameritech's Ohio region, where he oversaw an annual capital budget of $325 million. He received his MBA in Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Behavioral Science from The University of Chicago, and a BS in Business Administration from The University of Dayton. Mr. Sanders is a CPA and a Certified Turnaround Professional.

Derek Abramovitch, Phylogy's Vice President, Operations

Mr. Abramovitch has nearly 10 years of experience in finance, operations, supply chain and manufacturing. As a Manager at Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance Department, he provided financial, operational and strategic services to technology start-ups. Mr. Abramovitch’s most recent experience includes V.P. of Operations at Eagle Test Systems where he had responsibility for the direct management of all aspects of the production process, supply chain and customer service. Abramovitch holds an M.B.A. from McGill University and a J.D. from DePaul College of Law.

Dan Clegg, Phylogy's Vice President, Manufacturing and Quality

Vice President, Manufacturing and Quality

Mr. Clegg has more than 15 years experience in the electronics technology industry, with specific experience in telecommunications, aviation, space systems and instrumentation electronics. Mr. Clegg has participated in the development, validation, manufacturing and introduction of key products and processes for the US Navy and companies such Lockheed Martin, Space Systems Loral and Echelon Corporation. Most recently, Mr. Clegg served as Vice President of Manufacturing and Quality Assurance for Eagle Test Systems, based in the Chicagoland area. For nearly five years, Mr. Clegg architected and instituted the Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments at Eagle Test. Additionally, Mr. Clegg launched the company’s ongoing implementation of ISO9001:2000. These dramatic improvements contributed directly toward two of the most successful years in Eagle Test’s 29-year history.

Ray Kostalek, Director of Product Deployment and Support

Director of Product Deployment and Support

Mr. Kostalek is recognized in the industry for his expertise in loop transmission and new product testing, bringing more than 30 years experience to Phylogy. He began his career with Ohio Bell in 1964, advancing through the construction and engineering organizations and in 1966 built and operated his first test lab facility. During the late 70s early 80s, Mr. Kostalek had the responsibility for the engineering and installation of all the subscriber loop carrier systems in Ohio. Under his supervision, this project started with less than 50 systems and increased to over 1,500 working systems in less than two years. In 1992 Mr. Kostalek managed a team of engineers in the evaluation of a $300 million product selection study that was completed in record 85 days, which set the standard for all future studies. Mr. Kostalek retired in 1994 and joined Alcatel USA to design, build and manage a technical evaluation and quality assurance lab for their telecommunications products and software.

Mr. DuBose has spent more than 22 years of experience in marketing and sales in the semiconductor technology sector, including managing customer relationships, strategic and tactical marketing, new product definition, and P&L. Mr. DuBose has led business units with annual revenues of $100M+, and has defined, created, and launched successful product lines in the communications space. He served as acting General Manager of ZiLOG's Datacommunications Business Unit and on ZiLOG's executive council. In the sales area, Mr. DuBose has served as Global Accounts Manager, driving activities that penetrated and grew major accounts on a worldwide basis.

David Werry, Phylogy's Director of Network Engineering

Mr. Werry has more than 22 years of experience in applications engineering, sales and marketing in the semiconductor technology sector, including training, customer relationships, technical support, tactical marketing, new product definition and competitive analysis. Mr. Werry has managed major and worldwide accounts and territories, and has envisioned and delivered market and product training for the communications space. While at ZiLOG, he served as Director of Market Development for current and emerging communications product lines.
